Sunday Letter ~ September 27

Good morning from Memphis where it is finally 65 degrees this morning! I just got my kids outside with Will and the dog to buy myself a few minutes of peace with my coffee and my laptop!

My team and I have worked pretty much non-stop since March on our website. The semi-custom holiday cards, new ink colors, new artwork, but also our holiday shop, which launches on Wednesday! We have never had an official "Holiday Shop" on the website before and it is truly one of my favorite things ever!! One little note as you start shopping: we are a small business and don't have unlimited quantities of these pieces. I would rather offer a wider variety of really special things, which in turn means I can't have 100 of each one! So if you see something you love, now is the time to grab it.

I have spent SO much time sourcing beautiful, heirloom gifts and collectibles. In particular, our German smokers and pyramids are a personal favorite! They are so special to gift year after year, but I also love the idea of slowly building a collection around your own house. The Christmas incense smell is so nostalgic and wonderful to me!

If you've followed along for a little while, you also know we take the glitter villages very seriously! I love having several different sizes and colors to mix together on a buffet or mantle. You can put a battery-powered candle or string lights behind them for a little extra twinkle. Magic!!

And then there is all of the decor and entertaining (you know we always have the cutest barware!). We have GORGEOUS garlands that are super easy to do yourself. Our resident botanist, Diana, has listed all of the extra pieces you need to recreate them at home. Decorating for the holidays (what is Halloween?!) should be something special and fun for you to make your own!

Now is the time to start planning. Host a cookie decorating party, Friendsgiving, or a dressy holiday cocktail open house where people can pop in and out! Give yourself an excuse to decorate and gather. Life is moving so fast that we have to create opportunities for memories and traditions!

Thanks for following along!
