Man, I love October. September and the heat seemed to last longer than 30 days, and of course with Fall Break last week, October is already almost halfway over and I feel like I haven't even had a chance to enjoy it!!
I have loved working with a few new custom clients from all over the country these past few weeks. It is so fun getting to see all of the colors, ideas and messages you guys come up with!
A little PSA for anyone wanting an engraved holiday card with a lovely hand-border: this is the week to order if you are hoping to have your cards in hand the week of Thanksgiving! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me here if you have any questions about anything!
When we were in London this summer, we had the opportunity to take some photos with Pepa London's absolutely gorgeous clothing! I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite classic outfits alongside some coordinating holiday cards.
I wanted this year's engraved collection to feel really classic but with a twist. Think jewel toned papers, yummy metallic inks and fun, contrasting hand-borders! These really are little pieces of art, and I love that you can use them year after year. Remember, we hang on to your engraving plates so you can reuse them each Christmas, just changing up the paper and ink colors if you choose!
If you are wanting a contrasting hand-border, please consider ordering this week so we can make sure you have these beautiful little pieces of art by December 1!
Bessie is wearing the Balmoral Tartan Dress, which I absolutely love paired with our Keaton Card and Ellington Card. Poor baby Grace, hang on!!
My precious nieces, Louise (wearing the most adorable Radley Kilt) and baby Grace (wearing this sweet ivory lace set), look so sweet on our Larkin Card.
And Bill is wearing the cutest plaid shorts here on the Langley Card.
Aside from working to get all of these handmade cards printed (they really do take weeks and weeks!!), I am excited to celebrate Bessie's 8th birthday this week. How can it be!!
She is into all of the preteen things like squishies and Lola and the Boys jewel studded sweatpants, but she is also really into her historical American Girl doll collection and loves reading all of the books, which makes me so happy!
She has requested butter noodles, steak and chocolate cake for her birthday dinner on Tuesday. Let's see if I can pull that off while trying to keep the store cranking through one of our busiest weeks of the year!
Wish me luck!!!
