I think I say this often, but I am a big fresh start gal. Probably because I am the queen of starting any kind of resolution that will make the chaos a little easier, only to have life (kids, work, travel, house, store... chaos) inevitably distract me! That said, I never fail to get excited about the academic year starting and new beginnings—a new opportunity for me to succeed!!
Speaking of getting routines together, I found these freezable snack bags for the kids and bought this lunch box system for myself. I am going to try to send the kids with more apples, cheese, turkey roll-ups, hummus & carrots, etc. instead of always throwing in a bag of pretzels. And for me—truly anything is better than eating the leftover cookies and treats in our studio lunch space!

Other things on my mind...
New towels — I finally upgraded our master bath towels (shout out to Liz Eichols!). We had been using the same towels since we got married 14 years ago, so I think it was time! I ordered the Weezie Basic Bath Sheet Starter Pack and did white bath sheets with a soft white appliqué. I am SO excited for them to arrive!
My garden — I just planted more ferns, boxwoods, creeping fig, ground cover and Carolina jasmine in our little driveway patio area. Our house is really old and on a tiny lot, so I have been trying to create as much green back there as possible. It's so fun watching the creeping fig slowly take over!
Cooking — Broth bowls are having a viral moment, and I am going to try this curry dish this week. These flavors sound SO delicious and exactly what I want to eat right now.

Alemais Sale — I actually don't get that tempted by sales very often, but I think this one is totally worth looking at. I collect wide-leg pants like these and think they are so chic!
What's going on at the Studio — We are busting our butts to get the rest of our holiday cards online by Wednesday! I am SO proud of how this year's collection has come together, and I hope you all love it as much as I do. I am working on a vintage collection right now that features velvet ribbons—here's a little behind-the-scenes peek!
